Kim Watts

Kim Watts is currently an elementary school teacher and has been for over 20 years. Kim received her B.S.E. from the University of Central Arkansas in 1999.  Kim has been recognized as a teacher by receiving the 2008 Wal-Mart Teacher of the Year Award.  She loves teaching and has an ongoing passion for children.          Kim is a member of First Baptist Church in Perryville and is on staff as the Children’s Ministry Director, and previously has been the Vacation Bible School Director for many years.  This position allows her to invest into the spiritual lives of children as well.

Kim lives in Perryville, Arkansas with her husband and two daughters. Her oldest daughter is currently attending Hendrix College studying to become a Physician. Her youngest daughter is a full time concurrent high school student at UACCM and will graduate high school with an Associate’s degree. Kim and her family enjoy spending time with each other and friends. 

Kim is a valuable asset to the camp board in many ways.  She truly understands youth and is able to offer valuable advice on many levels.  She is also a spiritual asset and a prayer warrior for our camp needs.  She loves to be involved with the camp and experience youth develop a relationship with Jesus Christ.  Kim says, “With Christ in our lives, we can accomplish the impossible.
